Comedy

“…She also delved deftly into pop culture and, as her confidence in her voice and her physical humour grows, she’ll develop into a key Canadian stand-up.” – Exclaim!

“She” = me.

I do comedy, sometimes.

A few years ago, I wrote for 22 Minutes. Before that, I won a handful of regional stand-up comedy contests and spent 6 months in Chicago, training at The Second City, the iO, The Annoyance Theatre, and the Chicago Improv Den. I performed at the Chicago Women’s Funny Fest, which led to a favourable review from The Chicago Tribune, and I’ve opened for headliners Todd Barry, Aparna Nancherla, and Jen Kirkman. Other featured performances include the Halifax Comedy Fest, Women In Comedy Festival (Boston), and the SheDot Festival (Toronto).
